Anaconda is a seven card draw poker game which starts by dealing seven cards to each player. Before the initial betting round, every player first examines his combination or hand and removes 3 cards from his set and places the discarded cards on the board to his left side. After a player has dispose of the 3 cards, he then picks up the discarded cards of the player to his right and add them to his combination (thus every player has disposed of three cards to the player seated to his left).

Each player must first to do away with a card before he even dare to look at the card he is about to obtain. A betting round follows after the initial pass. Then comes in the next pass, where a player is required to pass two cards to the player seated right to him. Afterward, the second round of betting along with the third pass where each player passes two particular cards to the one seated on his left side.

Finally, the fourth and final betting round starts and after it ends, a showdown commences. During the showdown the player who holds the best high five-card hand getting the pot. In some common games, a rollout stage replaces the showdown just like the game of "Shotgun".
